2. Injection: Plastic pellets, also known as resin, are fed into a heated barrel. Inside the barrel, a screw-driven plunger melts and compresses the plastic into a molten state. Once the plastic is sufficiently melted and homogenized, the injection unit injects it into the mold cavity. This process is controlled by precise pressure and timing settings to ensure accurate filling of the mold.

 

3. Cooling: After the molten plastic is injected into the mold, it begins to cool and solidify. Cooling channels within the mold assist in regulating the temperature. The time taken for cooling can vary depending on the thickness and type of plastic used.

 

4. Opening: Once the plastic has solidified and the part has taken its shape, the clamping unit of the machine opens, separating the two halves of the mold.

 

5. Ejection: The mold is designed with ejector pins or a mechanism that pushes the newly formed plastic part out of the mold cavity. This is typically done using a plunger, ejector pins, or other mechanisms.

 

6. Repeating the Process: The machine can repeat the entire cycle, from clamping and injecting to cooling and ejection, in a continuous and automated manner. This allows for high-volume production of identical plastic parts.

1. Injection Unit: Comprising the barrel, screw, and plunger, it's responsible for melting and injecting the plastic into the mold.
